Job Description
After the success of our first PC/ Console game : Disney Dreamlight Valley, and the announcement of our next D&D project, our studio has the ambition to launch a new project of the same magnitude!
We're looking for a Creative Director for our new Life Sim Sandbox / Adventure project. This project will have a significant live component after its launch.
From scratch, you have everything to create and a team to build !
The Creative Director will have to forge a vision for a project, clearly communicate that vision to all contributors, direct the project's Game Design team, and work together with the Executive Producer to lead the production team.
The main tasks and responsibilities will be to design the world, game systems, social mechanics of our next ambitious pc console game by working with the Executive Producer but also:
Establishing and maintaining the vision for the game throughout the duration of the project
Leading the development of the features and other components of the game throughout the duration of the project
Being a mentor and a leader for the team by giving a clear vision of the project and inspire them
Working alongside the different interlocutors in the company (Studio Manager, HQ, Executive Producer, external partners) to communicate the vision of the game
Leading a team of Game and Level Designers, and reviewing their work daily
Maintaining a high level of communication and follow-up with the various departments
Contribute to building a team for the game
Qualifications
Skills
A minimum of 8 years' professional experience as a Creative Director, Game Director or Game Designer
Managed, from start to finish, and delivered at least one Pc/Console game
Experience with big Ips is an asset
English-French bilingualism
Experience with prototyping tools (Unity, GameMaker, etc.)
Solid experience with presentation software (PowerPoint Miro, etc.)
Profile
Strong Leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High capacity to bring and show a clear vision
Passion for video games and their history
Marked interest for pc console project
Good understanding of all the phases and jobs in the video-game industry
Open-minded, with a love of teamwork
Gifted with imagination!
