Role Description
Join our talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure! We're on the lookout for a UI Artist to contribute their skills.
Missions:
Produce high-quality UI art assets while adhering to the design requirements and artistic direction.
Develop innovative ways to convey game information to the player
Establish an overall vision for designated UI features and produce supporting visual mock-ups.
Manage entire UI features from concept to completion
Create wireframes for various UI flows
Create icons, motion graphics, and other elements that maintain the visual direction
Design, create, and implement UI screens of various complexities for the optimal user experience
Collaborate directly with the Design, Art, Audio, and Engineering teams to bring the UI to life
Provide constructive feedback on UI pipeline and tool features, driving their advancement for future game production
Ensure the timely completion of assets that meet style requirements and desired quality standards
Qualifications
High-quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant UI art
Proficiency with 2D software packages (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects)
Experience with 2D animation / motion graphics and how to leverage motion in the user experience
Experience with 3D modeling packages (3ds Max, Maya, Blender) is desired
Strong knowledge and interest in typography
Solid understanding of graphic design and grid systems for composition and layout
Expert understanding of color theory
Educated on the latest trends, coupled with a strong perspective on how they relate to our current and future projects
