The Product Manager is a senior owner of Live Operations systems and growth frameworks within the Gameloft World Monetization Department.
This role is accountable for designing, scaling, and evolving reusable product, monetization, and LiveOps systems that drive long-term engagement and user growth.
While supporting content drops, the Product Manager prioritizes the engineering of scalable systems and end-game loops that can be expanded across titles.
The Product Manager owns the end-to-end LiveOps lifecycle, including performance management, system optimization, and integration with user acquisition (UA) strategies, ensuring commercial success through sustainable, repeatable product structures.
Main Responsibilities
- Live Operations Ownership:
- Fully own Live Operations for assigned games, with accountability for performance, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Define and maintain the LiveOps vision, roadmap, and operating model, ensuring alignment with business goals and portfolio strategy.
- Act as the single point of ownership for LiveOps outcomes, from strategic planning to execution and optimization
- System Design & Reusable Frameworks
- Design and evolve scalable LiveOps, monetization, and engagement systems
- (events, offers, progression, pricing, retention loops).
- Shift focus from one-off content creation to repeatable frameworks that can be reused, automated, and expanded over time.
- Partner with Data team and Economy Designers to ensure systems are modular, data-driven, and future-proof.
- Continuously optimize the in-game economy using data, experimentation, and player behavior insights.
- Identify opportunities to standardize successful systems across games and contribute to portfolio-level best practices.
- Build meta-game activities and extra progression loops to improve retention and drive repeated player sessions beyond initial entry .
- Balance game economy features so that earned rewards maintain a healthy sink/source equilibrium .
- Build and improve a system for deploying new characters and minigames via server-sent payloads/ DLC (events, gifts, missions) to allow for quick changes without code updates .
- Strategic Growth & Stakeholder Management
- Drive High-Scale Performance Targets: Take full ownership of the strategic roadmap required to reach ambitious growth targets and long-term engagement milestones.
- Conversion & Entry Optimization: Design and refine systemic frameworks to improve the conversion rate between external product entry points and digital engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Use data-driven insights to evaluate the frequency and quality of user digital entry, implementing feature-level changes to optimize these core acquisition metrics.
- Proactive Growth Ideation: Transition from reactive support to proactive product leadership by ideating features that drive core funnel growth rather than just satisfying client requests .
- Systemic Conversion Strategy: Move from passive to active conversion by using product features to drive user digital entry and engagement .
- Dual-Track Roadmap Management: Maintain a dual-track roadmap that balances features agreed upon with partners against growth features proposed by the PM .
- Act as the primary strategic liaison for internal franchise leads and external partners.
- Translate brand objectives into structured, scalable, and data-driven system specifications.
- Growth, Funnels & Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize core funnel metrics to identify and resolve friction points in the player journey.
- Design product systems that support user acquisition (UA) performance, early funnel optimization, and lifecycle value growth.
- Align LiveOps systems with acquisition and re-engagement strategies to maximize ROI.
- Data-Driven LiveOps & Stability
- Coordinate closely with LiveOps Specialists to manage the deployment and rollout of data-driven features and updates.
- Implement specific LiveOps procedures to ensure user data remains consistent and stable across all version updates and rollouts.
- Design, run, and evaluate A/B tests to validate system changes and performance improvements.
- Use data to analyze the frequency and timing between user acquisition and digital entry .
- Define and monitor KPIs including ARPDAU, Engagement, Conversion, LTV, and Retention.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
- Work closely with Producers, Designers, Data teams Marketing to ensure system coherence and execution quality.
- Communicate system design rationale, performance, and risks clearly to leadership and stakeholders
- Influence long-term product and portfolio strategy through clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Facilitate teamwork ceremonies, including sprint planning, roadmap reviews, adjustments, and postmortems to refine frameworks.
