Join our talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure! We're on the lookout for a passionate Senior Gameplay AI Programmer to contribute their skills to a cutting-edge, PC/Console video game project. Partnering with a the license Dungeons and Dragons, this stylized survival craft game promises to redefine the genre and capture the imaginations of players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement core gameplay mechanics and systems that are responsive, engaging, and player-centric
  • Own gameplay features end-to-end, from prototyping to polished implementation
  • Integrate lightweight AI concepts (e.g: behaviors, decision logic, systemic reactions) to enrich gameplay rather than drive it
  • Collaborate closely with designers to ensure gameplay systems feel dynamic and reactive, leveraging AI where it meaningfully enhances player experience
  • Build and iterate on gameplay systems that interact with NPCs, environments, or simulations in believable ways
  • Develop tools and frameworks that empower designers to tweak and evolve gameplay behaviors easily
  • Ensure gameplay systems remain performant, scalable, and maintainable, even when incorporating AI-driven elements
  • Continuously refine gameplay feel through testing, iteration, and player feedback

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, game development, or a related field
  • At least 6-8 years of proven experience in game programming, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects
  • Solid understanding of AI principles, such as state machines, behavior trees, and pathfinding algorithms
  • Strong proficiency in C# and experience with Unity
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Passion for games and an understanding of game design principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with multiplayer game development
  • Experience with console game development
