Job Description

Gameloft Compliance QA Testers ensure that Console (Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation) standards and requirements are respected and correctly implemented in the games they are testing. You will collaborate closely with other Compliance Testers or Specialists, Production teams and technical support teams.

Validating games for successful submission on the first try will be your measure of effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Autonomously test and report bugs on assigned Console requirements;

  • Swiftly master at least one Console Platform by working alongside and learning from your more experienced colleagues;

  • Collaborate with colleagues as needed to cover all requirements and requests before the deadline;

  • Ensure bugs have the right level of logical and technical detail (no need for information requests from game developers);

  • Stay informed on the latest technical developments and requirements updates on at least one Console Platform;

  • Prepare and send Compliance QA reports, validating the title for submission.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of QA experience on Xbox, Switch or PlayStation;

  • Basic know-how of testing methodologies and bugs lifecycle;

  • Basic technical and process platform-specific knowledge;

  • Familiar with the video game development process and environment;

  • Good spoken and written communication skills;

  • Excellent English skills;

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

  • Experience working with bug tracking and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence);

  • Ability to quickly adapt or research new technologies;

  • Be a team player, while having great work ethics;

  • Sharp observation and analytical skills with a proactive mindset;

  • A passion for video games.
