We are currently looking for a 2D Marketing Artist to produce visual assets such as banners, icons, and screenshots for various stores, using materials supplied by the game team.

From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:

  • Editing 2D and 3D images, and manipulating image compositing
  • Processing pre-existing elements, and producing a large number of formats according to various specifications (resizing, new layouts, localization)
  • Creating impactful User Acquisition materials, from concept sketches and character illustrations to final colour correction and finishing touches
  • Creating vector logos, icons, and other visual assets using Adobe Illustrator
  • Preparing rough drafts according to requirements
  • Ensuring that illustrations meet our quality standards
  • Developing an image from rough sketch to final illustration
  • Providing feedback and working together with a capture artist
  • Painting over and polishing renders of in-game assets

Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent
  • Illustration skills and a flair for the use of colour, light, anatomy, and perspective
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop
  • Mastery of Adobe Illustrator
  • Knowledge of 3ds Max is an asset
  • Knowledge of Blender is an asset
  • Knowledge of Unity is an asset
  • Excellent digital painting and photo composition skills
  • Excellent layout and colour-matching skills
  • Excellent knowledge of visual culture in various fields (architecture, design, cinema, comics, games, etc.)
  • Creativity and adaptability to different games and visual styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration, etc.)
  • Ability to follow, and adapt to, an already-established artistic direction
  • Rigorous and meticulous work
  • Finely tuned sense of self-direction
  • Team-oriented
  • Knowledge of motion design is an asset
  • Experience in the video-game industry is an asset
  • Experience designing social media resources is an asset
  • Highly motivated, proactive, organized, detail-oriented and independent
  • Team spirit, good communication, creativity
