Job Description

Artistic and Technical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality meets expectations and direction from the Lead / Supervisor • Maintain art consistency during all steps of development

  • Ensure proper & successful integration of the graphical assets in-game

  • Actively following up, able to detect bugs and present findings to Lead / Supervisor

  • Estimate and Deliver artworks in timely manner and with required quality standard

  • Performing graphical work assigned by producers, superiors, supervisors, leads & directors

  • Learn & Master all the necessary tools

  • Participate in brainstorming, conception of ideas and brief creation

  • Work closely and collaborate with the project team, Artists Team and Lead Artists

Contribution to Management:

  • Thorough and organized, allowing you to work with goals and to see a project through to its end within given deadlines

  • Give necessary training and guidance to junior artists in your team

  • Ability to follow set graphical development guidelines, project workflow & creative processes

Reporting:

  • Report your tasks status to your supervisors or producers

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Advance level in Photoshop

  • Academic background in traditional or digital arts, concept art or equivalent

  • Possess good understanding of Art Fundamentals (ie. composition, shapes & forms, lighting, color theory, proportions, scale, perspective & anatomy)

  • Good sense of creativity and art

  • Good artistic eyes and pay attention to detail

  • Motivated and passionate about video games, good understanding of game development production processes with the ability to improve and optimize existing assets

  • 2+ Years of experience in the field

Skills

  • Good English oral communication skill: able to read English emails and reply

  • Advance level in 2D Art: hand-drawing, digital painting and illustration

  • Possess good understanding in style guidelines, design process and creative workflow with the ability to follow and adapt to different stylistic guidelines

  • Competent at research and development skill

  • Ability to create documents, lead conversations, express ideas, provide constructive feedback & making decisions

  • Effective organizational skills, able to create planning for own tasks

  • Ability to accurately estimate time to complete tasks and manage priorities to meet deadlines •

  • Able to follow a brief and work on their own initiative

  • Great interpersonal skills and getting along with others

  • Ability to resolve any artistic or technical issues encountered in your projects

  • Work hours: 08:30 AM - 06:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
