Epic Games is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Games’ information systems. Working with various security tools and technologies, this candidate will help with the daily analysis and triage of security events in our Enterprise.

In this role, you will

  • Providing project support and development for key security projects as needed within our cloud environments.
  • Engineering and tuning of cloud security solutions including, but not limited to, monitoring, alerting and DFIR (Digital Forensics, Incident Response) capability.
  • Automation of security controls, data and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support.
  • Communication of security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.
  • Reviewing, editing, updating and auditing against security standards, best practices guides and/or daily run documents.
  • Assistance in the development, processing, and delivery of security related metric reports.
  • Tracking and remediation assistance for vulnerabilities found in the enterprise as part of our vulnerability management program.
  • Documentation of implementation of tools and services.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of total experience in the cyber security industry, including DFIR, cloud security and security operations.
  • Extensive experience with cloud provider ecosystems such as Amazon AWS, Google GCP and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies such as Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
  • Hands on Security Operations experience dealing with events and incidents.
  • Hands on SIEM experience with Splunk, Arcsight, LogRhythm, etc.
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux Operating Systems and networking.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Scripting/Programming knowledge (Python, GoLang, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and technical documentation.
