AUDIO
What We Do
We raise the quality level of audio in all Epic game titles and technologies as well as engage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiences.
What You'll Do
As a member of the Epic Audio Team focusing on Fortnite Battle Royale, you will use your technical and creative skills to their fullest, helping define the future of interactive audio technology.
In this role, you will
Help to raise the quality level of audio in all Epic game titles and technologies
Engage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiences
Push the development of audio features and integration for future Unreal audio engine development
What we're looking for
Extensive audio engineering and DAW skills and knowledge
Strong self-management and organization skills and ability to work independently
Experience with Unreal or Unity editors, including scripting, level editor, animation and linear editors
Experience with audio middleware and implementing audio assets into game build
Mixing and mastering multitrack audio
Able to collaborate with diverse teams and disciplines to create effective audio
Ability to design and implement audio scripting to achieve desired in-game audio features and dynamic playback
Troubleshooting audio issues, optimization to meet memory budget and performance requirements across multiple platforms
Must have shipped at least two AAA titles and have 3 years as part of an audio team
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the video game development process
