3Lateral pipeline team is working on a wide spectrum of applications and problems. The ultimate goal is to design a framework that will connect all teams and processes within the company (and beyond) in our vision to create digital humans efficiently and effortlessly. The main responsibility will be the continuous development of 3Lateral pipeline tools through solving complex technical and sometimes mathematical problems. You will set coding standards and best practices for long-term software development through your ability to write clean, maintainable, and extensible code with attention to reusability.

Job description:

• Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets our production needs
• Build high-quality code by developing both unit and integration testing
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that new code conforms to highest standards
• Work with the team and independently to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
• Work closely with different teams (rigging, programming, production)
• Improve and optimize existing and develop new tools and applications for data processing and managing, with a focus on speed and accuracy

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of programming experience
• Advanced knowledge of core programming skills: algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Languages: Python (must), C++ (optional)
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker and cloud architectures is a plus
• Working knowledge of 3D DCCs such as Maya, Max, MotionBuilder
• Experience with 3D math, CG is highly desirable
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Great communication skills both written and verbal
• University degree in Technical or Computer Science
