Marketing at Epic
What You'll Do
Epic is looking for a digital-first marketer to lead the go-to-market planning and community engagement programs for the Spanish market. The ideal candidate has games or entertainment industry experience and is driven by the desire to build meaningful connections between gamers and our games. You have built local market strategies and plans that include relevant out of game and in-game channels, influencers and community, competitive, retail and partnership marketing activations. You have your finger on the pulse of the overall marketplace and use data and insights to shape and optimize your local marketing campaign priorities to drive desired outcomes. You enjoy working with internal partners and external agencies to craft and execute local publishing and marketing campaigns activities across our games and services.
In This Role You Will
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategies and plans to drive player and engagement growth in the country/region across the Epic Games portfolio
Orchestrate publishing activations driving alignment with key stakeholders at Epic HQ and EMEA Publishing to achieve meaningful measurable results
Develop and execute innovative and engaging marketing activities that encompass the entire player experience from attraction to retention
Empower decision making through in-depth business cases outlining expected impact, required investment and execution roadmap
Lead a team of local marketing talent and manage agency and partner relationships at the region and local level across marketing disciplines to support local publishing activities
Analyze the impact of global and local marketing campaigns and publishing efforts on local player acquisition, engagement, and the local business in general
What We're Looking For
Experience crafting and orchestrating marketing programs across many digital touchpoints
Strong understanding of how to build brands through the entire player lifecycle
Excellent project management skills to drive the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and activations
Able to write strategic briefs to evaluate creative materials and campaign ideas based on those briefs
Experience using data and insights to guide business recommendations and decisions
Comfort in navigating ambiguity and proactively solving problems across a global organisation
Relationship builder with strong partner and stakeholder management
Proficient written and verbal communication in English, including the ability to storytell and present strategies and plans
Experience working in the Spain market, with Spanish speaking audiences and fluency in the local language required
Entertainment marketing experience is desirable, including music or TV/movie content
