Working as an embedded user researcher on the In-Game Experiences (IGX) team, you will build the team's foundational knowledge on social gaming; help the team create future experiences for players and studios; and shape the future of a product reaching millions of players around the world! You will report to the team's Staff UX Researcher.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a cross-functional product team, crafting research that addresses team priorities while advocating for the needs of our players
Lead generative and evaluative research studies from start to end
Collect and analyze data using a variety of qualitative techniques and approaches
Communicate critical insights from the research to team members across Product, Design, and Engineering
Influence team members and shape product decision-making using research insights
Qualifications:
One to three years of experience working as an embedded user researcher on a product team
Knowledge of product development, and when and how to apply different research methods
Experience translating the needs and questions of a product team into effective research designs
Experience implementing a range of qualitative user research methodologies, such as user interviews and usability testing
Experience with user research recruitment and analysis tools, such as UserTesting, Dovetail, AirTable, or Miro
Experience influencing product decision-making and driving research impact

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): º $40 - $68 USD Hourly
Jersey City, NJ : º $53 - $68 USD Hourly
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): º $40 - $56 USD Hourly
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $40 - $68 USD Hourly
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $63,350 - $108,550 CAN Annually
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
