EA is looking for a messaging systems administrator to create new functions in systems and data monitoring, QA and Support, and Vendor Management. You will collaborate across multiple teams within and outside of EA to improve efficacy in enterprise-level tech stack operations, and create new frameworks, processes, and infrastructures from the ground up.

You will be a part of the Dynamic Omnichannel Messaging (DOM) team, reporting to the Director of Personalization Architecture. DOM is a centralized, always-on, automated messaging program that promotes acquisition, engagement and retention across EA’s digital channels.

The Messaging Systems Administrator has a daily responsibility for overseeing the operations of complex messaging systems. One of the Dynamic Messaging team’s main principles is to bring outstanding content experiences for EA players. You will play an important part in orchestrating the activities across multiple teams to complete projects to support EA’s omnichannel strategy and goals.

About the Team

The Dynamic Messaging team’s primary goal is to motivate players to engage with EA games by delivering content against important moments in the player’s journey. The team focuses on using behavioral and transactional data, and automation tools to deliver personalized messages, at scale

To this end, we develop enterprise-wide solutions that use automation and data to power new ways of enhancing the player experience within and outside of our games.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitor systems and data, identifying gaps and areas of opportunity
  • Develop infrastructure and framework for Quality Assurance, Troubleshooting, and Support
  • Participate in Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Operability reviews
  • Lead discussions and serve as the primary contact with vendors who provide tools and services that make up parts of the tech stack.
  • Represent as a consultant to partners for ensuring legal and privacy policy compliance.
  • Administer self-service tools, including operation, performance, adoption management, feedback into product roadmap, etc.

Desired Experience

  • Systems Administration Management experience in a distributed team environment.
  • 5+ years experience in Technical Consulting, Technical Project Management, Systems Administration, or similar
  • Experience working across large and distributed teams within an enterprise-level business
  • Familiarity with both creating and analyzing data sets to optimize processes, identifying gaps, or communicating successes
  • Experience working with ALM solutions (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience delivering live services, game development, and platform ecosystems a plus
  • Experience managing vendors providing tools and services, including contract, development, and utilization management.
