Our Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs. It’s all about managing supplier relationships and ensuring the availability of parts and services in the supply chain, while maintaining inventory at acceptable levels. We focus our resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll achieve:

As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will lead multiple programs to coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information. You will carry out strategic supply chain analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain. You will manage activities globally to prevent material shortages and react quickly to material shortages; minimize excess and obsolete material.

You will:

  • Act as the voice of procurement in product core teams and manage the supply chain for new and existing Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Guide regional demand teams to plan pre-production and production materials and worldwide / regional procurement to ensure risk mitigation plan is in place
  • Identify, define and implement efficiency opportunities for new and existing products
  • Represent procurement on product development teams to ensure “design to value” analysis is done throughout product lifecycle and help manage/reduce supply chain complexity
  • Determine appropriate courses of action utilizing strong knowledge of internal procedures and supply chain expertise 
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members and regularly influences and directs organization regarding appropriate supply chain decisions

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in project and program management, with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives and driving change.
  • Demonstrated leadership and executive presence, with strong influencing, facilitation, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, supported by proficiency with planning tools and data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and convey insights clearly and effectively.
