You’ll play a crucial role in driving our team’s growth, developing scalable processes to sustain this growth and supporting overall performance and team morale.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving our recruitment efforts by creating job ads, managing postings across various platforms, and screening applicants (we usually have 4-6 open roles with hundreds of applications for each);
  • Nurturing relationships with potential candidates, particularly senior/managerial profiles;
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth introduction to our operations;
  • Supporting our performance management initiatives by coordinating with managers to identify issues and contributing to solutions;
  • Promoting a culture of acknowledgment within our team by recognizing both professional and personal achievements and milestones;
  • Analyzing recruitment metrics to refine our strategies and improve the quality of applicants;
  • Pushing process efficiency by automating routine tasks and streamlining operations, enabling the team to do more with less.

Our People Ops team is a critical facilitator for the success of all functions across Empire. And your role is essential in making sure the entire business is positioned to deliver on our goals.

About You

We’re looking for someone with 3-4 years experience in HR, Operations or Project Management, specifically in the online casino/igaming, crypto or fintech worlds.

You’re comfortable managing multiple projects with many moving parts and can remain productive in the organized chaos of fully remote, startup/scaleup environments.

You also have:

  • Proficiency in synthesizing information to communicate points directly and effectively;
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach, always linking challenges with potential resolutions;
  • Experience with tools like GSuite, Slack, Discord, Zapier/Bardeen, Notion/Trello and ideally with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS) as well;
  • A collaborative, low-ego spirit, eager to work cross-functionally with other teams to support and facilitate their needs;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both internal team members and external partners or candidates; you can read a room.
