The Sourcing Specialist is a new role that is responsible for the sourcing function of the game production business. This role will have expertise in outsourcing various aspects of game development, such as audio, cinematics, and concept art. This role will be critical in ensuring Bungie has favorable contracts that enable the timely production and shipment of our products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support best in class Product Sourcing functions for Bungie's Game Development, aligned to Bungie's Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) strategy.
Partner with S&P leadership to execute Sourcing strategies specific to Bungie's Game Development business.
Influence decisions for suppliers across various categories within the game development & production space, based on cost and scenario analysis, timing, global compliance factors, quality and market trends.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, including costs and terms of resources, services, and quality.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.
Anticipate and escalate issues with senior members of the team and external partners to resolve risks to product development plans.
Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships with internal and external teams.
Partner with the Production team in managing budgets and maintaining external partner service levels, quality of work, compliance and financial targets.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience in Business Management, Finance, Logistics or Supply Chain
Well established sourcing experience in game development, production and outsourcing
Proven track record of cost savings
Ability to integrate new Sourcing best practices through influence and relationships.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in sourcing software (WorkDay preferred)
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate business terms.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Video game industry experience as a career or hobby
WorkDay experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics or Supply Chain

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Bellevue Pay Range
$86,000—$107,000 USD
Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:
20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
