The Contract Procurement Specialist is a role at Bungie supporting the day-to-day Procure to Pay (PTP) activity of several cost centers at Bungie. This is a contract role, with the opportunity to become a permanent team member. Responsibilities will include negotiating contracts, creating purchase orders to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services and overall Procurement support to the various cost centers. The role will also include executing projects to optimize the Procure to Pay process.

Estimated Duration: 12 months

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support best in class Procurement functions for Bungie’s Game Development, aligned to Bungie’s Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) strategy.

  • Partner with S&P leadership to execute Procurement strategies specific to Bungie's business.

  • Partner with business partners and the Finance team in managing budgets and maintaining external partner service levels, quality of work, compliance, and financial targets

  • Partner with S&P leadership to maintain and improve the PTP Process.

  • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements. Place orders with approved suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery.

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.

  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve any purchasing issues.

  • Drive purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis.

  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality

  • Develop and maintain internal procurement relationships and partnerships.

  • Ensure compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Maintain accurate documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in Procurement, Business Management, Finance, Logistics and / or Supply Chain

  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

  • Ability to integrate new Procurement best practices through influence and relationships

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in PTP software (WorkDay preferred)

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate business terms

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Video game industry experience as a career or hobby

  • Well established procurement experience in game development, production and outsourcing

  • Experience in SaaS, Technology and Marketing

  • Workday experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics or Supply Chain

Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly), This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Bellevue Pay Range

$86,000—$107,000 USD

Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:

  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position

  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date

  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually

  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
