Bungie is seeking a Principal Business Operations Manager (BOM) for an outstanding opportunity to partner with the President of Games & IP. The Games & IP Leadership Team collaboratively develops cross-franchise strategies for aligned roadmap plans, games & IP strategy, and investments in Central Technology, Shared Publishing, or External Development.

The Principal BOM will design, own, and drive the rhythm of the business for the Games & IP Leadership Team to define and align to the overall Bungie strategy. They will also manage and mentor the business operations managers embedded directly with business unit leadership teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, empathetic, and has a demonstrated ability in organizing people with a service mindset and aligning their strengths to the processes as needed. They will also have a deep understanding of both the business and creative dimensions of the game industry. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates 5 Year Product Roadmap and Plan, Games & IP inputs in the Mid-Range Plan, and Annual Operating Plan along with progress against them through Monthly and Quarterly Reviews 

  • Builds the connective tissues (processes, templates, etc) that bridge the product plans with business targets, streamlining the work for both finance and business unit leaders.

  • Owns the studio Games and IP calendar in concert with the annual business rhythm. 

  • Manages studio decision-making forums such as product gates when executive review is required. 

  • Oversees Games & IP, Product Council meetings, processes, and backlogs. 

  • Identifies and drives resolution to issues and conflicts within the Games & IP group.

  • Project Manages ad hoc strategic and tactical initiatives. 

  • Leads a team of Business Operations Managers embedded in business units to orchestrate studio planning, cascade goals and plans, and roll up and align initiatives. 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience leading and managing a Business Operations organization, preferably in games or entertainment. 

  • Experience coordinating annual strategy and budget planning cycles. 

  • Experience with business process design 

  • Outstanding facilitation skills and experience working with senior leaders.

  • Outstanding project management skills 

  • Outstanding communication skills 

  • Evidence of superior people management skills 

  • Proficient in project management tools and Excel

In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly). This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Bellevue Pay Range

$158,000—$181,000 USD

Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:

  • 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position

  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date

  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually

  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
