We’re looking for a lighting artist who has experience working with outsourced assets and has great communication skills. Specifically, this job requires:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for high quantity of feedback on outsource assets of a sub discipline that matches the Destiny aesthetic, while advocating discipline best practices
Communicating to external art vendors at each stage of production
Incorporating feedback from Art Direction, from the Art Outsource Manager, and the Lighting Art Lead
Standardizing naming conventions and file organization
Building and maintaining documentation for technical pipelines, workflows, and spec-sheets
Spearhead innovative pipelines and workflows related to External Lighting Pipelines
Mentorship of internal support team and external vendor artists
Integrating all types of lighting assets
Closing Bug Support
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to take and convey direction well
Attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to Lighting of Environments and Cinematic Content
A willingness to learn our proprietary game engine
Maintaining positive relationships with internal artists and external vendors
Time Management and Prioritization skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly). This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Bellevue Pay Range
$106,000—$129,000 USD
Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:
20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
Contract and International FTE employees receive competitive benefits through their relevant contracting agency.
