Bungie is looking for a Senior Editorial Manager – Internal Communications as part of the Destiny development team. As the Senior Editorial Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight of all internal communications within the Destiny development team, including key messaging, cadence, process creation and refinement, feedback management, and reporting of key performance indicators. Your role will be to carefully shepherd communications within the Destiny team, maintaining clarity and understanding between leadership and those who bring the game to life.
The ideal candidate is an expert communications professional with game studio communications experience; someone who is familiar with Destiny and is passionate about creating an atmosphere of open and transparent dialogue. Someone who understands complex game development environments and team dynamics, who has a knack for synthesizing dense information into accessible language, who is skilled at developing core themes that rally the team into action, and who is eager to recognize how that action sparks Destiny’s ongoing success.

This role will report to the Bungie Publishing Editorial Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain internal communications strategy and planning for the Destiny Leadership Team (DLT)
Work closely with the Destiny Universe Leadership Team (DULT) and the DLT to align messaging
Identify opportunities to build outreach for the DULT and DLT that will contribute to ongoing communications transparency objectives and a high degree of employee engagement
Establish and operationalize messaging, strategy, and processes across all teams and key business functions
Coordinate with larger Bungie Communications Teams to ensure smooth communication rollouts that are aligned to larger, internal/external narratives or objectives where appropriate
Develop and refine key messaging and important thematic content, as well as reactive communications and change management communications where necessary
Build and maintain feedback and reporting processes to gauge team sentiment to internal messaging
Serve as key decider on communications materials needing review for alignment and consistency
REQUIRED SKILLS
Deep experience with building communication strategy, preferably within a game studio or game development environment
Exceptional communicator able to effectively communicate with team members of various experience levels and from various disciplines
Independent thinker who can clearly and efficiently provide necessary context and elucidate strategy options
Familiarity with ID&E communication best practices
Strong sense of empathy and ability to understand and convey sentiment from a wide variety of points of view
Independent worker able to turn around high-quality work in short timeframes
Strong writing and editing capabilities

In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly). This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Bellevue Pay Range
$111,000—$134,000 USD
Bungie full-time (non-contract) employees in the U.S. also receive:
20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
