VFX Artist
Within this role you will be responsible for:
Creating real-time special effects (ie. environment effects, flames, dust, fog, water, blood, etc.);
Creating components such as textures, materials, meshes, liquid simulations, etc.;
Creating special effects from a concept to the final version;
Deep understanding of special effectsโ optimization in games;
Close cooperation with other 3D teams.
Job requirements
Feel free to apply if you have:
2+ years of experience working on special effect in video games;
Extensive experience in using software like Houdini and Maya;
Good understanding of at least one game engine (preferably Unreal Engine 4);
Practical knowledge of current trends and game development tools;
Knowledge of game production pipeline;
Creativity and ability to approach your work from a unique point of view;
Ability to work in a team.
Nice to have:
Experience working on shipped titles;
Passion for horror genre (games, movies, books).
