As a Senior Technical Game Producer on the team, you will have a strong understanding of game development guidelines and production methodologies, collaborating with our teams to ensure achievable goals are outlined and realized throughout the phases of development. Your role is essential to the development process by coordinating across technical disciplines, encouraging effective and open communication, and directing features and technical initiatives from concept, to release, and live ops. When particularly hard problems arise, you will draw upon your diverse experience and the collective creativity of the groups you support to remove blockers and produce a Blizzard-worthy game.
This role is a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
Drive the completion of project goals, maintain the technical roadmap, and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across engineering teams
Communicate frequently with producers as well as with team leadership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities
Create and track long-range project schedules for engineering teams
Help make decisions with team leads on workflows, pipelines, priorities, and resources
Collaborate with team leadership to maintain alignment and drive project goals forward
Anticipate production issues and remove roadblocks or bottlenecks that may prevent developers from achieving their goals on time
Provide effective and constructive feedback to the team, providing suggestions and solutions for improvement when applicable
As a senior producer, you’ll be expected to take on mentees from time to time as well as contribute back to the production discipline and process within the Warcraft Rumble team
Serving as an ambassador of Blizzard core values and team values; "Leading Responsibly" in all interactions and activities

Requirements
5+ years of game production experience
Must have shipped at least one AAA game in a producer or senior producer role
Adept at managing agile game development teams using Scrum and/or Kanban
Battle-tested knowledge of software development and project management processes
Experience facilitating and mediating dependencies across engineering disciplines and departments
Ability to build, track, and maintain engineering schedules
Highly self-motivated and accountable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pluses
Professional game industry experience on a live game
Shipped one or more mobile games in a production role
Experience using JIRA and Confluence
Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certification
Knowledge of engineering, art, tech art, and design production practices
Former engineer or coding experience
Experience handling an engineering pipeline—you understand and are able to facilitate workflows, have a grasp of production costs and timelines, and you are able to communicate this to leadership and the team

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
