The Platform SDK team within Battle.net provides a suite of SDKs which allow game teams to seamlessly integrate with Battle.net services. By integrating Battle.net’s SDKs, studios can easily supercharge their development - unlocking key capabilities like login, social and purchasing - while primarily focusing on crafting genre-deﬁning player experiences in their game.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly performant team responsible for shaping and implementing the future of our SDK strategy within Battle.net. Additionally you will also support our existing SDKs, establishing working relationships with game teams and other development teams within Battle.net, and directly contribute towards a world class gaming ecosystem.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced developer with a passion for building SDKs, shareable components, a background in mobile development and Unity, and has a history of working with a team in an agile environment.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance C++ and C# Unity SDKs which are integrated with game clients to access Battle.net services
Author and maintain technical documentation for consumption by studio partners
Support studio partners as they integrate our SDKs into their games
Create technical design documents and other artifacts
Participate in on-call rotation to quickly resolve live incidents related to SDK integrations
Troubleshoot and debug issues with SDKs currently in use by our studio partners
Uphold and promote the Blizzard Core Values
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience, with a specialization in Software Engineering
A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in C# Unity
Experience writing native software for mobile platforms, preference on iOS
Knowledge of API and communication protocols and integrations
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with software development in C++
Experience developing libraries, frameworks, APIs, and/or SDKs for use by other developers
Familiarity with mobile storefront integration

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $121,500.00 - $224,880.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
