As a Senior Game Designer on the Classic team, you will be implementing and collaborating across disciplines to bring features and updates to WoW Classic through iteration, thoughtfulness, cooperation, and feedback. Using your industry experience, you will be a critical member of a creative group of designers, who are delivering exciting gameplay, content, and expansions to our passionate World of Warcraft Classic players.
Communicate and collaborate with other teams to take revered, reimagined, or all-new gameplay experiences and systems to a whole new level for players.
Document and plan the execution of designs that recreate, and improve upon, previous WoW experiences.
Design and implement features and content into the Classic WoW experience.
Identify opportunities to improve implementation, process, and collaboration.
Solicit and openly embrace feedback and direction.
Promote, contribute to, and participate in our culture of inclusion and diversity.
Always be thinking and planning for the next gameplay idea that players will love!
Minimum 4 years of experience as a senior designer on a shipped product or equivalent, like expansions or a portfolio of work that can show wide design implementation skills and understanding.
Strong knowledge of WoW’s past expansions and experiences.
Experience creatively owning complete implementations from concept to delivery.
Background in creating, maintaining, and tuning systems, combat, or content.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
