This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is either Albany, NY, Austin, TX or Irvine, CA.

Stuff we will trust you with:

  • Collaborate with dungeon design to build immersive environments with a focus on composition, detail, and mood, while ensuring that gameplay spaces are readable.

  • Embrace visual storytelling and create art to enhance gameplay experiences with a focus on worldbuilding.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience creating environment content for video games.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid grasp of space, form, color, and light.

  • Proficient with modern game authoring techniques.

  • Ability to identify and solve technical challenges of building art for game features.

Extra Points

  • Authored assets that are visually appealing and performant in a modular environment.

  • Determined, passionate, proactive and creative problem solver, and a great team first attitude.

  • Works well in an environment of peers who are passionate about working on the dark gothic world of Diablo, making great games, killing millions of monsters, and getting loot!

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
