We Need You

The minions of Hell are growing stronger...

Are you excited about art in all of its forms, especially when it is dark, gothic, and macabre? We are looking for an outstanding concept artist with at least 5 years of industry experience and a portfolio that celebrates dark medieval fantasy subject matter to help us flesh out the extraordinary world of Diablo IV.

Our team of brilliant developers is growing. Our backgrounds are diverse, but we all share a real passion for what we do. We believe that if you’re looking for a tight-knit crew that celebrates self-expression and embraces collaboration, we will be an excellent fit for you.

Stuff We Will Trust You With

You will collaborate with various art and design departments in your quest to create exciting characters. Crucial skills include a solid grasp on practical character design grounded in a dark and gritty realistic world, the ability to describe materials differences in your design, the ability to unitize strong shapes and silhouettes to create powerful imagery and characters, an understanding how to use reference to ground a design, the ability to implement feedback and build a concept from sketch to finished design ready to be passed off to 3D modelers. We expect you to demonstrate deep understanding of human and creature anatomy. Your work may range from creating unique art pieces from scratch, to tweaking and improving existing assets. One day you may be working on a weapon or armor set, and the next day a monster boss. The ideal candidate works well in an environment of peers who are passionate about working on the dark gothic world of Diablo, making great games, killing millions of monsters, and getting loot!

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA
