As a Project Manager for Blizzard Quality Assurance, you are a subject matter expert. Your attention to detail and high standards for quality make you a trusted and reliable resource for ensuring accuracy and deliverables of the game live operations. You will partner and provide high value quality-related services to development leadership – and you will champion this notion before the internal Blizzard staff and external strategic partners that you will work with daily. You will speak up often, meaning both your diplomacy skills and passion for games should be obvious because your voice will represent the Chinese gaming community.

You will work in Blizzard’s China office located in Shanghai and report directly to Blizzard Quality Assurance Irvine.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between our distributed internal and external teams

  • Ensure all outsourced deliverables are polished and meet Blizzard quality standards

  • Coordinate responsible test area with regional teams

  • Partner and provide high value quality-related services to development leadership

  • Demonstrated experience in test planning for complex features/systems

  • Work closely with Live Operations Manager and game development teams to ensure accuracy and deliverables of the game live operations

  • Be responsible for validating the set up and execution of launches, in-game promotions, and other events

Requirements

  • Strong grasp of the English language and can tailor your correspondence and communication for all levels of the organization

  • Diplomatic and good at interacting with people from all levels of the organization to drive Blizzard’s QA initiatives

  • You have several years of functional quality assurance and project management experience

  • Familiarity with Blizzard Entertainment line of products and services

Pluses

  • Experience working on a live game operated as a service

  • Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner, ISTQB

  • Coding knowledge: XML/HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C/C++/C#, SQL

  • Speak another language besides Mandarin Chinese and English

  • Worked on one or more AAA video game titles

  • Several high-level characters across the Blizzard multiverse
