We're seeking an experienced Competition Operations coordinator to join the Overwatch League and Overwatch Esports who is passionate about the esports ecosystem, knowledgeable in competition formats, an effective communicator. The person in this role will work with the OWL competition operation team mainly in APAC region and look to provide a top tier experience for its players and may also support operations for all other Overwatch esports competitions. This role will also play a big part in overseeing match day operations.
Ensure operations for online and offline league match play run smoothly in partnership with our broadcast and IT teams.
Work proactively with players, team staff and GM’s to address all issues & feedback in a timely manner.
Provide players, teams, and team managers with league updates regarding changes, rules adjustments, or any other pertinent news relating to competition in both English and Korean.
As a fan of Overwatch & the Overwatch League, provide the team with creative thoughts and solutions to further develop the future of the league.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of rules and regulations for all programs.
Assist in designing competitive systems and formats focused on delivering the best experience to players and spectators.
Support Path to Pro esports competition operations by working with KR and APAC esports team in KR office.Work and collaborate with local agency to ensure smooth and successful competition operations.

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
2+ years experience working in esports or other live events and/or leagues
1+ years experience in an administrative role in esports or gaming competition.
Able to work diligently and confidently in a fast paced, live environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Deep passion and understanding of esports, Overwatch and the Overwatch League.
Impeccable organizational, problem-solving and time-management abilities.
Able to act with discretion when handling confidential matters.
Available to work holidays and weekends.
Able to work in Seoul, Korea and speaking Korean
Proficient language ability in both English and Korean
Able to occasionally travel, including internationally.
Experience with broadcasting talent management
Experience in a game or entertainment company
Experience in project management
A passion for video games
Language ability in Chinese is a big plus
