We are currently looking for a highly experienced and collaborative Lead Hero Producer to help us craft Blizzard’s next generation of heroes. You will bring deep expertise in leading complex, multi-disciplinary development efforts, unifying fragmented pipelines, and driving predictable, high-quality execution across the full hero development lifecycle. You will act as the single accountable owner for end-to-end hero production, partnering closely with game leadership and craft leads to deliver cohesive, scalable, and compelling hero experiences. Responsibilities

• Partner with game leadership to deeply understand and advocate for the hero vision, gameplay goals, and quality expectations, ensuring these are translated into clear, actionable plans across all development streams.
• Own and drive the end-to-end Hero Production Pipeline, unifying art, gameplay, AI, and supporting systems (bots, tutorials, progression) into a cohesive and scalable framework.
• Lead the definition and continuous refinement of the hero production approach—establishing clear phases, priorities, dependencies, and delivery expectations from concept through feature complete.
• Build and maintain a single integrated roadmap, ensuring alignment across disciplines and visibility into milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Guide producers and area leads in maintaining a prioritized backlog that supports predictable, sustainable delivery while upholding quality standards.
• Drive cross-team alignment and coordination across all hero development disciplines, ensuring seamless integration of visual, gameplay, and AI components.
• Manage a team of producers, providing clear direction, setting expectations, and driving accountability to ensure consistent execution and delivery.
• Proactively identify systemic risks, pipeline inefficiencies, and execution challenges—driving durable solutions that improve development flow and team efficiency.
• Validate and evolve the hero production cadence, ensuring scalability and predictability, particularly during Soft Launch and live operations.
• Identify and address capacity gaps across disciplines, partnering with leadership to ensure teams are set up for successful delivery.
• Establish effective communication, reporting, and planning practices to promote visibility, alignment, and shared understanding across teams and stakeholders.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and feedback-rich culture, supporting strong team health, engagement, and sustainable execution.
• Provide input, support, and thoughtful feedback toward individuals’ performance, development, and career growth.

Minimum Requirements 

• Significant experience contributing to and leading the development, release, and/or live operations of one or more game or digital products, including complex multi-team environments.
• Experience owning and driving large-scale, cross-disciplinary feature or content pipelines end-to-end (heroes, characters, or similarly complex systems preferred).
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams and align diverse disciplines (Art, Design, Engineering, AI) toward predictable, high-quality outcomes.
• Deep familiarity with lean/agile product management methodologies and the ability to adapt processes to meet evolving production needs.
• Strong expertise in production planning, dependency management, and building integrated roadmaps across multiple teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build cultures of trust, respect, open feedback, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Strong self-awareness and adaptability—able to receive feedback openly and adjust leadership and communication approaches as needed.
• Understanding of F2P business models and/or live service operations.
• Passion for games, game development, and delivering exceptional hero-driven player experiences.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to drive clarity and alignment across multiple teams and disciplines.
