Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced channel strategy, operations and vendor account manager to join Publishing Team in Korea. This individual will report to the Publishing Director and will have responsibility to achieve Korea Internet Game Room (IGR) channel market share and revenue objectives in addition to fully managing Blizzard’s goods production vendors, maintaining the client relationships, inventory audits and overall goods program management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term channel strategy, IGR promotion plans and execute as planned.

  • Achieve IGR market share and revenue goal.

  • Generate all IGR related reports and communicate them to the Korea managers, management group.

  • Be a communications hub among IGR customers, channel management team, each Blizzard Entertainment function, and Partner HQ teams about IGR related issues and objections.

  • Manage the daily tracking of all IGR tasks and ensure that schedules are maintained and adjusted accordingly.

  • Develop IGR work procedures and new programs.

  • Manage IGR field supporting activities, like site visits and proof of marketing.

  • Contribute to Blizzard Entertainment projects as a representative of the Publishing Team.

  • Maintain deep relationships with a portfolio of key agency accounts, developing business through excellent client servicing.

  • Coordinate vendor communication, campaign strategy, campaign setup and kickoff process.

  • Serve as a liaison with vendors for Blizzard goods.

  • Work with the marketing platform team and other functional teams to help define features and drive enhancements to our platform.

  • Help build the Client Services practice, by creating prompt and accurate reports, best practices.

  • Conduct set site visits for inventory audits and inventory management verification and quality of goods.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in online game publishing experience (Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, or Live Operations)

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience

  • Active involvement in IGR strategy and execution

  • Strong leadership, project management, and people management skills

  • Remarkable interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

  • Fluent written and verbal English

  • Capability to think logically and solve problems independently

  • Excellent MS Office skills

  • Passion for games and a seasoned online game player

  • Available for provincial travel

  • Proven experience of growing accounts by forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding their objectives and recommending best strategies

  • Solid experience in Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets

  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise internal reports

  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced, results-oriented work environments; Confident, self-motivated, collaborator and relationship builder who approaches business with a partnership mentality and has excellent communication/ presentation skills
