Job Responsibilities

  • Identify proper mesh topology as well as repair and/or give feedback to the 3D modelers
  • Carry out the rigging and skinning of the characters to meet the needs of project Animators and of the Art Directors
  • Work together with Technical Artist and Tool Programmers to create tools that increase the effectiveness of the productionโ€™s workflow
  • Ensure good use of projectโ€™s technical constraints

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of body mechanics and anatomy
  • Highly proficient in current industry tools (Max or Maya)
  • Excellent rigging and skinning skills
  • Good knowledge in modeling and animation
  • Good knowledge of 3D-related mathematics
  • Knowledge of the game pipeline
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand technical constraints
  • Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams
  • Ability to manage their own time and work within deadlines
  • Good communication and English skills.

Bonus

  • Previous experience in game development will be very appreciated
  • Scripting experience with MaxScript, MelScript, Python, C#, C++ or others is considered a plus
  • Experience with standard industry tools like Motion Builder, Photoshop
