We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of a robust, scalable, and secure network infrastructure for our data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Arista and Juniper technologies, as well as experience with VLANs, LACP, firewalls, and network security solutions. This role will focus on improving network reliability, performance, and security by designing, configuring, and optimizing our data center networks.

Expected Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p (ET) working closely with IT admin team based in the UK

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a senior networking role focused on data center infrastructure. Strong expertise in Arista and Juniper network solutions (certifications preferred). Hands-on experience with VLAN, LACP, firewalls, and network security configurations. Knowledge of network security best practices and tools for spam/malware detection and prevention. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and proactive issue resolution. Ability to design and maintain highly available, redundant network architectures. Experience with other networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPNs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as Arista Certified Engineer (ACE), Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCP), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Experience working in cloud-based or hybrid environments. Familiarity with load balancers, proxy servers, and web application firewalls. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
