Your Mission is:

Beenox and the Analytics Insights team are seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to work on Call of Duty (COD). As part of the Insights team, your mission will be to drive data-driven decision-making within Beenox. You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, business stakeholders, Activision & studio leadership, and analytics peers to derive meaningful insights that enhance gameplay design and guide commercial and development strategies. You’ll operate as an embedded analyst in Beenox’s Montreal office while reporting to a Santa Monica-based team. Additionally, you will partner with the broader Global Analytics organization to optimize game features that aid in driving player engagement and monetization.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Beenox Product Management Team and the Analytics Insights Team to optimize game features, balance game economies, and identify new ways to boost player engagement and retention.

  • Analyze core game systems, implementing gameplay analytics that align with the development goals of Beenox designers and engineers.

  • Support and drive analytics initiatives within a cross-functional team to inform design and implementation decisions, both current and future.

  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.

  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding the player mindset to derive and communicate insights that shape design and engagement strategies.

Player Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., data analytics, data science, statistics, economics, or mathematics).

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization.

  • A passion for storytelling through data, turning complex datasets into compelling narratives.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, including the ability to interpret data, apply statistical methods (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA), and derive actionable insights from quantitative information.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships and expectations.

  • Experience in gameplay analysis or knowledge of user engagement and monetization strategies in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or mobile apps is a plus.

  • Fluent in French & English preferred.
