The Corporate Development team at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. partners with multiple internal teams across the Global organization to drive and support our vision to “Connect with Fans”. Leveraging our partner network across the Americas, we aim deliver our fans with richer and more immersive experiences around our most cherished IPs such as PAC-MAN, GUNDAM, Tekken and many others.
We are looking for a talented, highly motivated individual to join our Corporate Development team in Southern California to drive and support new external partnerships to expand our IP in the Americas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Foster relationships with new platforms and game developers in the Americas to identify new opportunities to grow our IP and connect with new audiences
Partner with and support our Global Content teams to execute portfolio strategies in the Americas
Collaborate with our Corporate Venture unit (021) in creating new partnerships with early-stage technology startups and assist in any resulting due diligence process
Support our existing portfolio companies in the Americas in unlocking new ways to connect with our fans by leveraging their technologies and know-how
Support our dedicated IP teams at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. in maintaining exiting and structuring new partnerships in the Americas
Develop a partner network within the global organization’s IP stakeholders to foster more collaboration across multiple media (Animation, Hobby, Amusement etc.)
Represent Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. in meetings with executives from our partner companies
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Analytics, or related discipline
Or relevant work experience
5 to 8+ years’ experience in partnerships, business development, or sales in a gaming environment, preferably in the PC/Console ecosystem
Experience closing strategic business development deals
Entrepreneurial, persistent, resourceful, transparent and learns quickly about new technologies
Outstanding relationship skills, including the ability to work effectively with international teams in a large global organization
Ability to work with minimal supervision and interface with key internal corporate stakeholders
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Willing to take on additional responsibilities to advance business development and corporate objectives
Fluent in English and Japanese
