BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Asia is a leading PC and console video game publisher and distributor in Asia with major franchises such as TEKKEN, SoulCalibur, PAC-MAN, Dark Souls, Dragon Ball FighterZ and NARUTO ULTIMATE STORM.

The Product Executive will be responsible for day-to-day operations required in publishing our games for both package and digital formats on Sony PlayStation 4 & 5, PlayStation Network, Microsoft Xbox One & Series X, PC/Steam and Nintendo Switch platforms.

The role will also include developing P&Ls, reporting sales results via royalty reports, tracking various product SKUs and serve as the key liaison for information dissemination with internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a team member who is an independent self-starter, with a strong ability to handle multiple projects and timelines. The candidate must have good analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. He/she must be efficient in both English and Japanese, as communication with headquarters and partners will be an integral part of the role.

The Product Executive will be part of the Regional Asia team based in Singapore and reports to the Brand Manager. Minimal travel may initially be required for training purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational and administrative duties to publish our games on both physical and digital formats
  • Manage schedules for a wide variety of aspects of the projects within a cross-functional group environment
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders and vendors in English and Japanese to ensure timely and accurate milestone deliveries and content submissions for successful game launches.
  • Work closely with local and regional teams to constantly ensure all language localization efforts are reflected on platforms
  • Manage and lead on sales reports, budget P&Ls and royalty reports for commercial teams.
  • Serve as the link between product and brand managers to facilitate efficient communication dissemination on all relevant game information.
  • Liaise and coordinate with marketing teams to update game assets, including marketing materials, local game pricing and SKU information on all digital stores.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of product or project management experience in the gaming industry or related industry in a similar role will be a bonus
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, with an ability to build commercial P&Ls
  • Intermediate to upper intermediate writing and speaking skills in Japanese
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in accounting software preferred, i.e.: Oracle.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and project lead with attention to detail.
  • High organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Passion and knowledge in games and anime is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent working experience
