Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is seeking a rising PR star ready to apply their experience and passion for games and anime to our diverse portfolio. We are seeking an Associate Public Relations Manager to join our team and drive PR initiatives for our games, with focus on our anime-licensed and anime-inspired products. This role will help develop and execute actionable PR plans that maximize awareness and drive purchase interest in our products, working closely with cross-discipline marketing teams and outside partners and agencies. The person in this position will also act as a media relations representative for their products, communicating regularly with press, and attending trade shows and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the main PR representative on assigned titles, developing comprehensive PR plans that support the lifecycle of a product

  • Write and edit press materials including product messaging, press releases, media alerts, and pitches

  • Help plan and coordinate PR tours, press events, and PR presence at major trade shows

  • Regularly interact and develop relationships with press to foster positive engagement with our products

  • Work closely with internal marketing and product teams to coordinate interviews, procure assets and approvals, and ensure strategies/messaging are aligned

  • Work on product PR initiatives with partner agencies/vendors

  • Monitor and report on PR campaign KPIs

  • Be an effective ambassador for Bandai Namco Entertainment in and outside of the company

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 + years relevant PR experience

  • Work ethic that is detail-oriented, highly proactive, and with excellent follow-through

  • Familiarity with game, tech, and entertainment press

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of comfort with speaking and presenting

  • Passion for and knowledge of video game and anime culture and landscape

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field

Salary Range: $75,563 - 108,183
