What We Need

The 2K Growth Strategy team is responsible for video game franchise P&Ls and we are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Analyst to join us. You’ll work alongside a variety of departments and collaborators to drive the commercial performance of existing and unannounced video game franchises. The wider Growth Strategy team includes talented individuals based in Singapore, Ireland, the UK, and the USA.

This role requires structured problem solving, critical thinking, and data driven decision-making. The ideal candidate collaborates well with colleagues across functions and geographies, working together to achieve ambitious goals. They love to tell a thoughtful story from data and insight with clear “so what’s” while seeking and incorporating feedback from others. They enjoy working out how to structure ambiguous and difficult problems.

Experience in gaming is not required, however experience working within fast-paced, dynamic consumer-focused technology companies is valuable.

What You Will Do

To be successful, you will analyse internal and external data to improve our understanding of the business and formulate growth strategies.

You will set and achieve ambitious targets to grow the number of players, their engagement and company revenue over the lifetime of multiple franchises. To do this, you will:

  • Find opportunities to grow revenue by analysing the business, players and the broader market.

  • Analyse revenue data to extract compelling and practical business insights, communicating findings and recommendations to various partners.

  • Form working relationships across geographies, functions and levels to drive alignment and execution.

  • Partner with regional teams to align on goals, analyse performance and develop pricing and sales strategies for our digital and physical products.

  • Provide authoritative advice on structuring, executing and measuring test-and-learn experiments to grow engagement and revenue.

  • Provide ongoing performance reporting on titles across the company by building and distributing performance reports and dashboards.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • Experience in strategy / management consulting, banking or fast-paced, dynamic, consumer-focused technology companies.

  • Excellent influence, persuasion and communication skills. Able to navigate the organization and key partners collaboratively with high emotional intelligence.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to extract key stories from your analyses and present them clearly.

  • Experience making presentations and building spreadsheet models.

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles. (e.g. how a P&L works).

  • Passionate about trying to understand and tackle difficult business problems.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills.

  • Experience tailoring deliverables to stakeholder audiences.

  • Comfortable working with distributed teams in different time zones.

  • Willingness to master SQL and data visualization tools.

  • Passion for gaming

  • Exposure to a wide range of data and analytical concepts and methodologies, including:

    • Market sizing

    • Competitive analysis

    • Primary research

    • Forecasting (units & revenue)

  • Comfortable using SQL and scripting languages (i.e. Python) to extract data and analyze large datasets
