What We Need

We are seeking a highly skilled People Data Specialist to join our team. As a People Data Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and analyze employee data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. You will play a crucial role in cleaning and maintaining our HR database and generating meaningful reports to support strategic decision-making processes.

What You Will Do

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret employee data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  • Maintain and update the HR database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Create and maintain data entry processes and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient data management.

  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on employee data, such as headcount, turnover, diversity, and performance metrics.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, providing recommendations to improve HR programs and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for specific projects or initiatives.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • 2+ years’ in a HR/People Analytics or other relevant business role

  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets- particularly in analyzing and summarizing large data sets, and managing ongoing reporting

  • Experience in data visualization and dashboarding in Powerpoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets, and other relevant tools

  • Competency in continuous improvement of our people systems and processes

  • Experience with data visualization software such as PowerBI and Tableau

  • Solid business acumen, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand how People Strategy impacts 2K’s broader Strategy

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $31.00 and $50.00 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
