What We Need:

2K has been a major console and PC game publisher for several console generations and is known for bringing amazing IP to the market. We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to join the team in China to grow the #1 PC free-to-play sports franchise – NBA2K Online.

You’ll be managing core game titles including Civilization, Borderland, Xcom,etc. and the NBA2K Online 2 in close partnership with the local publisher – Tencent, leading planning and execution of marketing strategies and responsible for internal and external communication on the title.

What You Will Do: Marketing Manager

  • Build and manage relationships with publishing partners and IP stakeholders

  • Plan and oversee branding and marketing projects, working with internal global teams, publishing partners, brand partners and vendors to ensure delivery of the highest quality assets and campaigns

  • Execute marketing strategies that best serve local players while maintaining strict adherence to IP guidelines and brand identity

  • Collaborate with Tencent and the NBA Global Licensing Team on NBA2K Online Marketing activities

  • Participate in long-term planning with cross-functional teams on overall growth and development of NBA2K Online and other Core game franchises

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

  • We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who has a passion for NBA or 2K core games and thrives in a fast-paced environment and is an experienced problem-solver

  • Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in the Gaming or Entertainment industries

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin

  • Past experience in product/ game/ partnership management in the China market is necessary for this role

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience prioritizing under tight deadlines and ability to judge the requirements of multiple assignments

  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and time zones (particularly with both East and West counterparts)

  • Keen understanding of 2K titles, especially NBA 2K, Borderlands and Civilization
