CAT Interstellar: Episode II: A Sc-Fi Indie Game Set on Mars
Ionized Games, the developer of CAT Interstellar, has released new gameplay footage of the upcoming sequel, 'CAT Interstellar: Episode II'. Developed in Unreal Engine 5, the footage shows a buggy driving around Turing Canyon, a Martian canyon, and some rope physics.
In CAT Interstellar: Episode II, players take control of United Nations Common (UNC) Marine Sergeant Gary Freeman. Freeman is on a mission to deactivate Android 42, a rogue android that has been wreaking havoc on Mars. The game is set 24 hours after the first game's events, and it features a similar linear story structure. The game is expected to be around 1 hour long and gameplay footage reveals Freeman driving a buggy through Turing Canyon and also showcases Freeman using rope physics to climb up a cliff face.
The new gameplay footage looks impressive, and it suggests that CAT Interstellar: Episode II will be a worthy sequel to the first game. The game is scheduled to be released later this year.
