Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Partner/Account Management in the video, media and/or entertainment industry, with a focus on gaming.
  • Experience working with Live and Video on Demand (VoD) programming on YouTube.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in YouTube content creation and management.
  • Understanding of video gaming and a desire to learn more.
  • Effective project management skills.

YouTube’s Product Partnerships team accelerates the global growth and innovation of YouTube products by driving new business opportunities through partnerships. We own the business side of new features, products and initiatives that are vital to the success of YouTube. As a team member, you understand the landscape of partnerships opportunities across technology licensing/integrations, marketing, and distribution. You will also craft strategies, define and structure critical partnerships, negotiate agreements, and cultivate our relationships.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, Content Partnerships on the YouTube Gaming team, you'll work closely with some of the most vibrant and innovative creators on YouTube today. You'll manage relationships and day-to-day activities with a set of key individual content creators and gaming news/editorial companies. You’ll endeavor to translate insights from those interactions into cross-functional strategic initiatives that improve YouTube’s overall product, marketing and ad sales offering to all partners. You will play a key role in influencing the development of one of the fastest growing content categories.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain direct relationships with YouTube creators focused on Gaming.
  • Provide direct ongoing support to partners and liaise internally with other teams to secure specialized support as needed.
  • Produce analyses and recommendations to optimize performance as part of regular review cycle with managed partners.
  • Develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives to enhance overall gaming creator experience and results and communicate key partner metrics and develop account plans for presentations to YouTube management.
  • Co-develop Gaming marketing strategies (events, content, and experiential) alongside YouTube Marketing and Measurement teams.
