Lead QA (f/m/d)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead QA to come join our team and develop amazing games with us.

Responsibilities

Developing test strategies for different phases of game development
Collaborate with Project Leadership and Production to ensure quality of releases
Leading bug triage process for releases
Managing the embedded QA team
Assessing and managing external QA teams
Promote and enforce QA best practices across the entire YAGER team
Planning and implementing QA tools for the development team
QA staff planning, personal development and hiring of new QA members
Assessing risks related to build health
Collaborate with production and architects to develop, prioritize and maintain automation strategy

Qualifications

2+ years of senior QA experience within a development environment
Skilled in project management and planning execution
Experience with AAA projects and live products with frequent release cycles
Familiar with leading bug tracking software, Jira, Test track or Dev Track
Comfortable and eager to mentor as well as lead
Strong commitment to QA principles and philosophies, can effectively communicate such concepts
Good verbal and written English skills
Passionate about videogames

Desirable skills

Familiar with various development methodologies, Agile, Scrum and Waterfall
Familiar with Version Control systems
Familiarity with automation best practices
Console testing experience
Up to date with the latest TRC/TCR requirements
