What This Role Is All About?

The person in this role will work directly with Wizards product studios to bring direct-to-consumer high end products to our fans around the world. As a product owner, this individual must ensure that product concepts, and execution, align with technological capabilities. This applies to the product itself, digital rewards tied to the product, and any marketing layer used to support product sales. To achieve this aim, the Product Owner must analyse opportunities, and develop the actual nuts-and-bolts mechanics of how we connect our content to ecommerce.

A Day In The Life:

eCommerce Platform Investigation and Analysis

  • Provide commerce opportunities to our global brand studios to achieve mutual objectives
  • Understand the mechanical nuts-and-bolts of how to connect our content to eCommerce technology stacks.
  • Analyze opportunities and stay abreast of new commerce platform features that we might take advantage of.

Business Development

  • Work with internal teams to develop and actualize the commerce opportunities that you identify
  • Track the efficacy of our direct-to-consumer efforts and report on them regularly
  • Contribute to the global eCommerce planning.
    Product Management of Digital Products
  • Product manage the Wizards direct-to-consumer experience, platforms and sales objectives. You will own this experience and the relationship with the technology providers that it is built on
  • Work with internal product teams to ensure that our products are meeting mutual objectives
  • Work with internal teams to develop requirements for Wizards Play Network digital tools and ensure that the development team meets your requirements to your standards.

What You Bring:

  • Degree level education with business, commerce, marketing or sales related fields.
  • Solid experience in bringing entertainment products to European markets through the Direct to Consumer
  • Product/Project Management/Production expertise.
  • Ability to develop granular knowledge of online sales platforms on which we do business.
  • Familiarity with and desire to learn emerging platforms, retailers, apps, and shopping experiences.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, and the intelligence to glean insights from it.
