Are you a specialist in typesetting, with experience working with die lines for packaging? We're looking for a creative production professional to join our team working on Magic! We need a hardworking Technical Artist with the creative ability to build and finalize large files, coupled with an obsession for making sure all elements are completed beautifully and accurately. If you have experience working in a fast-paced production environment, this may be the role for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Create print production files for cards, packaging, and other assets.
  • Act as production specialist and subject matter expert for the Production Manager and Art Director to ensure high quality design is generated as intended.
  • Work within a high-efficiency, heavily scripted XML workflow (AppleScript, JavaScript).
  • Collaborate to ensure that all printed materials are produced to a consistently high standard.
  • Coordinate final approval on assets you build as needed.
  • Exhibit strong self-management of daily tasks.
  • Continually help the team build, test, and improve our workflow and color management procedures.

What You'll Bring:

  • Highly proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience in a large scale production art role with complex and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of die lines and packaging file build needs.
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat skills required.
  • Familiarity with print production standards.
  • Ability to code in an AppleScript and/or JavaScript environment is a bonus.
