Do you have demonstrated expertise in product marketing, a passion for product development on a global brand, and an affinity for Magic: The Gathering?

We are looking for a results-oriented, innovative Product Marketing Manager to support our flagship game brand, Magic: The Gathering. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the international business needs of our global product portfolio. You'll work with existing sales channels to identify new marketing opportunities and potential product ideas, coordinate with our global marketing teams on the launch of our major marketing efforts, and help make decisions about go-to-market efforts for the Magic TCG.

Partnering with internal resources, you'll get to develop and design new products for our regional partners to deepen player engagement or create new players. You will also work closely with the product team to identify key selling points for each new product release and develop information flow to enable our business teams to make informed decisions about how to market and sell our products.

Working knowledge of and passion for Magic: The Gathering is a plus, and experience dealing with the challenges of an international business is a big asset!

What You'll Do

  • Work with designers and developers to gain a deep understanding of our tabletop product portfolio, then curate a method of clearly communicating key selling points of new product releases to sales and marketing teams
  • Create and deliver product presentations to both internal teams and external business partners
  • Lead weekly Marketing and Sales calls with our international teams
  • Work cross-functionally with other company studios to identify and execute opportunities for cross-product marketing
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to internal cross-functional marketing and sales teams with regards to our global product portfolio.
  • Work with our consumer insights team to identify new consumer needs that can be met with new product ideas, or adjustment to existing products
  • Coordinate with Communications and our internal player Community Managers to develop better ways to outreach to our fan communities
  • Analyze and report on performance and return on investment of product releases and adjust plans to optimize
  • Monitor and report on consumer reaction and generate consumer insight driven marketing proposals
  • Research and communicate current market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience, preferably with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or related coursework
  • Proven experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Development, preferably supporting a global brand
  • Expertise in developing cutting edge product marketing for consumer products, preferably games
  • Adept in providing reliable communication on the strengths of a specific product to dependent teams downstream of production
  • Experience working with a global brand and international partners
  • Ability to drive projects forward by providing clear and concise direction and feedback while influencing partners
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines and within budget parameters
  • Well developed verbal and written presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
