You’ll take ownership of our TRPG product launches in German-speaking markets, and identify and explore potential expansion markets. We'll use your experience in marketing high-profile tabletop/digital games, and product marketing experience at a leading entertainment or gaming company.

Reporting to the Sr. Brand Manager, D&D, your responsibilities will be in 3 key areas (Brand Marketing, PR and Community Management) focusing on Dungeons & Dragons in GSA.

This role can be based in Germany, or at our EU HQ – Stockley Park, UK. We are also open to working out of a home office as long as you're in the specified country.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Brand Manager by being the local market specialist to support business planning and develop an EU marketing strategy. Together we'll deliver improved brand awareness, increased player acquisition, positive product sales trends, and increased digital game downloads.
  • Identify future expansion territories within Europe for D&D, build and deliver plans to realize these.
  • Craft and run outstanding marketing campaigns to meet short and long-term business objectives.
  • Research and advise on offline marketing opportunities to drive business growth within local market and the region.
  • Support marketing campaigns for D&D digital games in the assigned market(s).
  • Work with our Influencer Marketing team to source local influencers, handle budgets within approved thresholds, and build content plans supporting key releases for user-generated content.
  • Manage daily local media relations. Develop and run tactical PR plans with the EU PR agency.
  • Solicit, track, and report regularly on community sentiment and discussion. Coordinate with management and internal teams to implement appropriate action plans.
  • Lead all local marketing campaigns, analyze performance, and optimise.
  • Become the brand guardian for Dungeons & Dragons in German markets.
  • Deliver presentations and updates to internal partners and the EU senior leadership team.

Problem Solving: This person will contribute to D&D’s tabletop (and digital) strategies and plans, and is empowered to execute these as approved by their leadership.

What you'll bring:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in German and English a MUST
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital product/brand marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a brand/product spokesperson
  • Great understanding and appreciation for gaming and pop-culture. Knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons would be helpf
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to positively persuade and influence
  • Ability to write effective briefs which probe and challenge
  • Experience writing and delivering presentations
  • Confident user of MS Office

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of time per year

Time to Reach Full Performance Level in Position: 3 months

Physical Requirements: Able to work in Office/Home Office environment, using computer or phone for long periods.
