The Wildlife Product Insights team is looking for a talented, ambitious and passionate Business Intelligence Engineer to join Wildlife's team in Sao Paulo to support analysis, improvement and creation of metrics and dashboards for Product Insights Analytics. In addition, they will work with internal customers at all levels of the organization – Marketing Operations, Finance, Engineering, Game Studio.

What you'll do

  • Work as the internal data analytics consultant, working on a long term analytical strategy together
  • Quickly build a thorough understanding of the mobile gaming industry;
  • Translate basic business problem statements into analysis requirements;
  • Define and deliver reporting and data visualization that supports the analytical needs of internal business leaders;
  • Drive self-service solutions for business leads supporting experimental analysis, performance against forecasts, and an environment where key trends are recognized and acted upon quickly and proactively;
  • Use analytical insights to help increase teams effectiveness against key strategic goals
  • Owning the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs;
  • Use analytical and statistical rigor to answer business questions and drive business decisions
  • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting
  • Write queries and output efficiently, and have in-depth knowledge of the data available in the area of expertise. Pull the data needed with standard query syntax; periodically identify more advanced methods of query optimization. Convert data to make it analysis-ready

What you'll need

  • Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Finance, or other quantitative field;
  • Analytically-driven consulting, investment bank, or other advanced/relevant background;
  • Experience in complex data analysis (model creation, what-if scenarios, A/B testing, etc.);
  • Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments;
  • Analytical skills and detail-oriented, while also seeing and understanding the big picture;
  • Knowledge of data querying or modeling technique with SQL and/or R;
  • Knowledge of Python or other relevant scripting language;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and different levels of management;
  • Plus: previous work experience with product analytics.
  • Plus: previous work experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics solutions;

  • Proven ability to lead analytical initiatives; experience in marketing or finance analytics is a plus;

  • You are an excellent teammate and raise the bar of those around.
