We Are Nations is a specialist esports consumer products and retail company with locations based in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia with additional distribution partners around the world. The company provides merchandise design, sales, manufacturing and distribution services for esports teams, leagues and other endemic and non-endemic brands operating in the esports industry.

Nations is seeking to hire a Commercial Director for its Los Angeles office. Los Angeles has become a hub for esports and as a result we are expanding our presence there.

Job duties will include:

  • The on-boarding and the subsequent day-to-day management of company clients, including teams, leagues and other endemic organizations.
  • Long-term planning and execution of client initiatives, including inline coordination of client needs (product design, product launch, internal marketing, sales and administration) throughout the company's organization and sales channels.
  • Act as a client advocate within the company to produce best-in-class results and creative vs. business parity.

The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in fashion, merchandising and/or consumer products within esports, traditional sports or media and entertainment. If not from esports, they will possess a strong understanding of the esports and gaming industry as to where it's come from and where it's going.

Requirements:

  • Los Angeles based
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience
  • Knowledge of the esports industry
  • Product management experience is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self motivated
  • Photoshop and Illustrator competency
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Travel required, valid passport required
