To this end, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager who can join our team and help pave the way towards our new goals.

About the position

Virtuos is searching for an organizationally focused candidate with strong people skills to join us as a new Key Account Manager. As a Key Account Manager you will sit at the intersection between our partners and our development teams around the globe. In addition to being responsible for managing projects of varying sizes and working closely with internal teams to deliver critical milestones, you will be responsible for understanding our Key Clients’ goals and concerns both current and long term and assisting in fulfilling/resolving them.

Responsibilities

Key Account Management:

  • Act as both a partner advocate within Virtuos and a Virtuos advocate within our key partners
  • Maintain industry knowledge on your key partner’s past, current, and future titles and proactively suggest options for expanding efficiency, content, or reach.
  • Facilitate regular, timely, and thorough communication with partners to maintain strong business relationships and identify projected production needs. This includes:
    • Engaging with partners and liaising with internal Virtuos teams in order to facilitate production needs
    • Assisting Virtuos teams in managing project development and planning
    • Collaborating with Producers and Art Directors on a regular basis to meet partner/studio requests
    • Set and manage partner’s expectations
    • Communicating project plans with partners and providing feedback to Virtuos teams
    • Facilitating calls/meetings between partners and Virtuos teams in China / Vietnam / Ireland / France and managing/monitoring progress of contracts, agreements, invoices
    • Manage partner feedback during and post project as a part of the Virtuos internal improvement processes
  • Maintain and grow deep, trusted, and long-standing relationships with key partners in an effort to help them attain their goals while in turn attaining Virtuos’s goals.
  • Travel for both partner visits and occasional trips to Virtuos’s world-wide studios

Business Development:

  • Assist Key Account Director in Business Development initiatives and strategies in North America; including identifying new opportunities within your Key Account’s, gathering data, and preparing reports.
  • Salesforce management and account tracking.
  • Represent Virtuos at key industry events
  • Facilitate onboarding of partner projects and due diligence process

Qualifications

  • Be a proactive self-starter and able to think outside the box.
  • Interest in working across disciplines and with multinational teams
  • Broad understanding of game workflows, platforms, and technologies.
  • Equivalent of 4+ years of experience in game production or creative leadership.
  • Extensive experience with external production/remote teams.
  • Ability to multi-task while accounting for different timelines and strict deadlines
  • Understand cultural styles and business approaches of different regions and be able to style switch accordingly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work moderate flexible hours
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferably in entertainment production or a related field
  • Limited travel required
