Position Overview:

As the Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and sustaining a vibrant and devoted online community centered around Omni One. Your primary responsibilities include crafting engaging social content, overseeing post management, actively interacting with our community, and assessing the effectiveness of our social initiatives. This role is based in Austin, TX, strategically positioned to leverage the capabilities of our content studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging and shareable content for Omni One across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create content, including memes, graphics, and videos.

  • Curate and schedule posts, ensuring a consistent and authentic brand voice.

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with product launches, events, and promotional activities.

  • Respond to comments and mentions on all social feeds promptly, fostering a positive and engaging online community.

  • Engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and credibility.

  • Lead management of Discord by gamifying, curating channels, and measuring engagement.

  • Utilize social listening tools to compile reports, providing key metrics and actionable insights. Inform decision-making and recommend strategic adjustments based on social media analytics.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media or communications, with a focus on the gaming or consumer electronics industry.

  • Demonstrated success in growing and engaging social media communities.

  • Strong creative and storytelling skills with proficiency in Photoshop and video editing software.

  • Familiarity with emerging trends in social media and a keen interest in virtual reality and gaming technology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
